At Maitland's Hand Roaster, we roast to order to ensure every bag arrives at peak freshness. Below you'll find everything you need to know about how we ship your coffee and teas.
1. Order Processing
All orders are processed within 1–3 business days of payment confirmation. Orders placed on weekends or UK public holidays will be processed on the next working day.
During busy periods (e.g. seasonal promotions or new product launches), processing times may be slightly longer. We will notify you if there is a significant delay.

International delivery times are estimates and may vary due to customs processing, local postal services, or other factors outside our control.
4. Customs, Duties & Taxes
For international orders, your shipment may be subject to import duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in our product or shipping prices.
We recommend checking your local customs regulations before placing an order.
5. Tracking Your Order
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number (where available). You can use this to monitor your delivery progress.
If you have not received a tracking update within 5 business days of your dispatch notification, please contact us.
6. Failed Deliveries & Returned Parcels
If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful and the parcel is returned to us, we will contact you to arrange re-delivery. Additional shipping charges may apply. We are not responsible for parcels that cannot be delivered due to an incorrect address provided at checkout.
7. Lost or Damaged Shipments
If your order arrives damaged or appears to be lost in transit, please contact us within 7 days of the expected delivery date at [your support email]. Please include your order number and, where possible, photographs of any damage.
